BSUNION GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

COMMUNITY AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
To enhance involvement of the Bruneian youth in community development projects and activities both in Brunei and in the UK and EIRE

To build a strong network between students with local and international Non-Governmental Organisations specialising in community outreach and development 
​
To provide students opportunities to make a difference through means of volunteerism and activism

​
To raise awareness on contemporary social inequalities.
HEALTH AND MENTAL WELL-BEING
To ensure that BSU offers a 'safe space' tp preserve and promote the wellbeing of the Bruneian community in the UK

To provide a platform where students can be guided to the right people/organisations if they require support 

To provide compulsory basic level training to Society Leaders and Regional Executives with the aim of creating a tolerant, supportive and sensitive space in their respective society 
EMPLOYABILITY AND FINANCIAL LITERACY
To construct a platform for students to develop skills to increase their chances of employment 

To provide students with practical knowledge of work etiquette, work ethics, networking skills and leadership traits

To prepare students for life after university to allow students to make informed financial decisions
ACADEMIC TRAINING AND HOLISTIC EDUCATION
To foster an academic community and mindset among Bruneian Students in the UK

To build on students' research, writing and analytical skills

To provide a platform for students to communicate and network with postgraduates

To encourage students to explore beyond the curriculum to become well-rounded individuals
